Voortman manufactures machines exclusively for GSS Machinery to meet our strict specifications. GSS Machinery is geared towards small to medium-sized fabricators while Voortman is aimed at larger fabricators. Voortman has been building machines in GSS Machinery's factories for over ten years. GSS Machinery is Voortman biggest customer.

The CNC Beam Drill Line can either be programmed at the machine by hand or via the Peddimat software. The AVENGER includes this software and it can be installed on as many computers in your office as you wish. This unlimited license comes with your machine purchase. This software is identical to the one found on the machine and can be installed on any Voortman CNC fabricating machines.

Even if you are programming the CNC Beam Drill Line manually, it is easy to program. Peddimat machine programming software can be used and most operators will learn how to program most of the parts in under an hour. Of course practice makes perfect. It is best to program the machine by importing parts directly from a 3-D modeling program such as ProSteel 3D, StruMis, Tekla Structures, SDS/2 or StruMis. These files are imported directly into your machine. Once you have selected the part, hit the Cycle Start button.

Voortman's beam drill line design is intelligent not only because of its capabilities, but also because it can be easily plugged into any environment due to its modularity. Tandem solutions that include band saws, robotic coppers, and PeddiWriters expand the shop’s throughput positioning. This allows for a more economical approach to the steel industry when it cools down and a more aggressive approach as the industry heats up. Voortman created the Multmaster to make it possible for even the smallest parts to be turned into a tandem bandsaw. Fabricators will make more money by using the entire profile and minimising the remnant. Increase your output Check. Material handling is essential for any Voortman CNC drill lines to make a profit. Fabricators can lose money each time a profile has to be manually moved. However, material handling is safer than using fork trucks or cranes for the most heavy profiles.

Spindle Drill

The MultMaster works as an extension of the Roller Feed measurement system in order to perform cuts which may otherwise require manual positioning for programs with many small pieces. This accessory allows fast and simple material processing on a Voortman drill and saw tandem system by automating the processing of short remnant sections.

STRENGTH. Steel is harder than aluminum, despite being more susceptible to corrosion. Although aluminum has a higher strength in colder climates, it is more susceptible to scratches and dents than steel. Steel is less susceptible to warping or bending due to heat, weight, force or heat.
